Proof-Reading (8-10 pages/hour)

Meant for documents that have already been through the editing/revising process, Proof-Reading is focused on addressing punctuation, spelling, and grammar issues only.

Standard Editing (5-8 pages/hour)

The Standard Editing service addresses basic punctuation, spelling, and grammar, as well as issues with transitional phrases, word choices, word repetition, sentence structure and organization, and clarity of ideas. The number of pages per hour rate will vary depending on the type of project involved and a writing sample may be submitted to the editor if a more specific estimate is desired. ESL editing may be more time-intensive (3-4 pages per hour), depending on the English-writing abilities of the client.

Revising (3-4 pages/hour)

Revising is more time-intensive and normally takes place when a document is in need of more assistance than what a Standard Editing service can provide. In addition to addressing those issues listed under Standard Editing, Revising will also review the overall structure of your document, paragraph organization, clarity and cohesion of ideas and arguments, etc. Suggestions will be offered on how to strengthen your document and improve overall presentation.
